The New Amsterdam Bicycle Show is wheeling into town (Skylight Soho, 275 Hudson St., nr. Spring St.; 212-284-9737; April 28 and 29; 10 to 7; $15 in advance; $20 at door) for its second year, catering to bike geeks across the leisurely-cruiser-to-aggressive-roadster spectrum. The weekend-long expo will showcase the latest models from 70 international vendors including Yepp, Horse Cycles, and Linus. Beyond the voyeuristic offerings, the event provides opportunities to blow cash on cycling accessories in an on-site pop-up shop run by local retailer Adeline Adeline and velojoy.com. Expect to find safety vests by Dargelos ($95), Flux Productions handlebar bags ($155), and, to spare the ladies from flashing a bit of underwear while riding in a skirt, clip-on garters by Bird Industries of Minneapolis ($10). A bonus: complimentary valet bicycle parking.
