Beth Rudin DeWoody
Green Light
DeWoody kept the palette light in her living room, saving it from
starkness with early-modern furniture and soft, structured weaves.
“There are a lot of textures,” says DeWoody. “Some
of the fabrics are made by a friend of mine in Seattle, Gary Glant
of Glant Fabrics. He makes beautiful chenilles. I tried to keep
it understated because of the art that I have.” DeWoody sits
on a Jed Johnson–designed sofa, surrounded by her collection
of green glassware. “I love that green color. I started to
get a few things, and then I got more and more.” Her twin
Fontana Arte coffee tables from Ciancimino pick up the greens. Behind
DeWoody on the sofa is an antique French blanket.
