Todd Oldham's Loft
Picture This
Oldham made his own picture shelves out of two-by-fours: “It’s nice to be able to circulate my art without rehanging it.” He collects mostly photography, but also likes the occasional flea-market painting. Ann’s crossed doggy cushion is by Jonathan Adler, an old friend. The plastic stump is by Philippe Starck for Kartell; the Eames chair is part of a limited Herman Miller reissue in the original rosewood. And the giant shell was a gift from Oldham’s “modern-day hero,” Joseph Holtzman, the editor of Nest. “He had grown up with it in his backyard, and was happy to have it move on. I was very happy to receive it.”
