Todd Oldham's Loft
Shelf Life
The “floating bookshelves” were built by Oldham’s
team out of three-quarter-inch plywood and conduit. “I wanted
something airy and breezy that would allow the light to pass through
but still differentiate the rooms," he says. Arrayed on the shelves
are a few pieces of Jonathan Adler pottery. Oldham covered his Case
Study sofas, reproduced by Modernica, in vintage Herman Miller orange
wool. The stool at right is by Adler, carved in Africa; the stool
at left is Eames, from Design Within Reach.
