Martha Stewart’s home gym in Bedford, New York.
“The gym is brand-new. It was completed the day I returned from Alderson [prison camp], but I couldn’t
use it, as it wasn’t part of my home confinement.” It’s in an old goat barn. “I found a hatch
in the ceiling, and it turned out to be this beautiful space. It was windowless, so we put in two giant dormers.
The floor covering is Mondo. It was used in the Olympics in Atlanta. It’s 3¼-inch rubber vinyl.
Dark chocolate.” (Not shown are the various other Cybex machines.) “Now I use it every day. I exercise for at least one hour a day. The treadmill is my favorite. It is actually medical, with an incline of 30 inches. I like climbing.”
