| Sally Hershberger’s jeans. Hairstylist and burgeoning brand Sally Hershberger has “at least 40 pairs of jeans” and wears jeans about 345 days a year. She keeps them on a hanger because they’re easier to see that way. The most she ever spent on denim was $1,200 (or the equivalent of two of her haircuts) for two vintage pairs at Fred Segal. “They’d been lowered, reworked, and bedazzled.
