The Wedding Album
Chantel Marrow and David Adams
Palm House, Brooklyn Botanic Garden
October 21, 2000
| With their wedding at the Botanic Garden, weather was the biggest worry for Chantel, a choreographer, and David, the head of an electronic-games company. "The day before was cold. The day after, it rained," she remembers. "But ours couldn't have been more perfect." In keeping with the setting, the ceremony had a magical, Midsummer Night's Dream-ish quality: Attendants held candles as the couple exchanged the vows they'd written; afterward, they formed a canopy with their bouquets, and the newlyweds walked through it into the reception. | |
