The Wedding Album
Gina Kelly and Niall Maher
Shrine of Elizabeth Ann Seton and Jack Studio
December 6, 1997
| On a windy December day, bagpipes played and guests blew bubbles as Lucky fashion-news editor Gina Kelly and Diesel executive Niall Maher filed out of the Shrine of Elizabeth Ann Seton in Battery Park. Yellow school buses whisked them off to the reception at Jack Studio. "I'd attended an industry party there," says Gina. "It had a lofty feel, with wraparound windows and amazing views of the river and Empire State Building." The bride didn't see the dress, made by her friend, designer Rebecca Taylor, until days before the wedding. "I just had one fitting," she says. "For a fashion editor, I kind of wimped out on getting fabulous shoes I just got cheap dyeables and threw them in the garbage at the end of the night." | |
