Allison, a director of sales at Hugo Boss, and Jason, a sports
agent representing NFL players, wanted a traditional wedding without
the traditional trappings, so they chose Tribeca Rooftop for their
ceremony and dinner. “We visited the space the day after we
got engaged, and booked our wedding right on the spot,” says
Allison. Instead of standard round tables with centerpieces, they
decorated square tables with clusters of square vases; each table
had a different kind of white flower—tulips on one, roses
on another, and so on. White candy completed the look: There were
large glass vases filled with white jellybeans, M&M’s, marshmallows,
and yogurt- covered almonds scattered throughout the room. And the
newlyweds decided in advance not to leave each other’s side
the entire night. “I thought we were going to be depressed
when it was over, but it was the most incredible night,” says
Allison. |
