Overall Look and Feel:
I wanted an 1800 French château age-of-innocence setting. We used antique brushed-gold urns as centerpieces, filled with kiwi, pomegranates, and dark burnt-red roses stuffed in like a Caravaggio painting. I designed a very fitted dress that evoked an Edwardian turn-of-the-century feminine, sleek sophisticated.
Memorable Dress Moment:
After our wedding, I did not want to take my dress off. I couldn't believe this was the only time I would get to wear it. It was an emotional moment, and my mother, who was sitting next to me, said, "Honey, I know." Even though I would wear something very different now, that dress was perfect for the moment. I felt beautiful.
