New York’s luxury maternity brands are huddling together in a new 10,000-square-foot space called Destination Maternity (575 Madison Ave., nr. 57th St.; 212-588-0220). A Pea in the Pod, Mimi Maternity, and Motherhood Maternity are now all under one roof for one-stop shopping. While mothers browse the racks for Diane Von Furstenberg, Chaiken, and Vivienne Tam, dads can set the kids loose in the play area, browse the art gallery, or relax in leather recliners and watch plasma TVs. Last stop before heading home: Edamame Maternity Spa on the lower level for a facial or massage.
Located next door to its off-price designer-clothing store, Gabay’s Home offers discounted Calvin Klein linens, Waterford tableware, and Cuisinart appliances (227 First Ave., nr. 13th St.; 212-529-4036).
