Onward Kashiyama, the manufacturer behind J.Press and Joseph, has recruited a hipster-fashion dream team for the new store Nave (159 Mercer St., nr. Houston St.; 212-274-1255). The house label is a design collaboration between Richard Chai, Borne, Lincoln Mayne, Barking Irons, Rohka, add, and Industry Rag. The line is feminine, modern, and sophisticated—look out for white microfiber scoop-neck dresses, striped cotton woven shirts with waist ties, and canvas bags with silk-screened patterns (pictured), all reasonably priced between $50 and $500.
Giggle opened its first store in Soho in September, and now it’s already added a second location for cheery nursery items (1033 Lexington Ave., at 74th St.; 212-249-4249).
And in bridal news, Candice Solomon Couture has moved from a studio to a storefront (327 Lafayette St., nr. Houston St.; 212-645-7123), and Bridal Reflections now has a Manhattan location (286 Fifth Ave., nr. 30th St.; 212-764-3040).
