Just when the market seemed to be fully saturated with specialty denim stores, Rogan hits Tribeca (91 Franklin St., nr. Church St.; 646-827-7554). Besides the label’s wildly popular dark trouser jeans and ready-to-wear called A Litl Betr, the dark-hued boutique has a furniture collection called Rogan Objects (oak coffee tables are $1,100 to $2,500) as well as handmade jewelry, rare books, and stationery from Optos Books, Scosha, and Kate Young.
L.A.-based designer Yoo Lee is bringing her feminine, chiffon-filled collection east with her new store, Saja (250 Elizabeth St., nr. Houston St.; 212-226-7570). The tiny store is loaded with twenties-inspired Peter Pan–collar jackets, pastel satin waist tops, and goddess gowns.
