If your Project Runway fanaticism extends to buying the budding designers’ clothes, run to EMc2 (240 Elizabeth St., nr. Houston St.; 212-431-4134), the retail store opened by Emmett McCarthy after he was cut from the show’s second season. Amid the flirty sundresses and bold gold and silver disc necklaces, highlights from McCarthy’s collection include geometric jersey dresses ($415), buttery leather bags ($375), and sharp three-quarter-length coats ($525). He’s obviously kept close ties with his castmates: Designs by fellow Project Runway alums Kara Janx and Chloe Dao are also in stock.
