Walk too fast and you could easily pass by the tiny new jewelry boutique called Phoenix Roze (183 W. 10th St., nr. Seventh Ave.; 212-255-2362). Stop into the four-by-fourteen-foot space for delicate fourteen- and eighteen-karat-gold necklaces ($250 to $450) and drop earrings made with moonstones and tourmalines ($145 to $300). For shoppers in search of one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces—say, a lariat made with fire opal, for example—designer Guy Rozenstrich can hunt down the stone (he found a 22-karat one in Thailand) and will design a custom piece as he does for his celebrity clients (from $300 to $15,000 for gold jewelry).
