Jumping on the Bleecker Street bandwagon, designer Miguelina Gambaccini has opened a 900-square-foot shop for her high-style women’s apparel (347 Bleecker St., at W. 10th St.; 212-400-3100). Gambaccini’s eye for color came at a young age, when she lived in the Dominican Republic and made her own clothes. But it was her tenure at Emanuel Ungaro that honed her fashion sense. The spring collection is full of easy-to-wear gauzy halter dresses, silky camisoles, and breezy tunics.
Alice Roi is testing the retail waters May 3 through 6 with a pop-up store to showcase her monochromatic spring collection (76 Greene St., nr. Spring St.; 212-353-3334).
