The co-founders of Lucky Brand Jeans have started a new denim venture, and after opening six stores in two years in California, they’re finally headed to the East Coast. Denim snobs of both sexes will find the 1,250-square-foot Civilianaire (53-55 E. Houston St., at Mott St.; 212-219-9966) stocked with sixteen straight- and slim-leg styles starting at $235. Each pair is crafted in East L.A. from raw Japanese selvage and finished with signature gold stitching. Other basics include supersoft sweatshirts ($85), checked and striped work shirts ($160), and buttery suede utility jackets ($1,100).
