1. Nicoletta
160 Second Ave.; 212-432-1600
Crowds swarm nightly for Michael White’s Wisconsin-style pizza, mortadella skewers, and icy affogato, also available to-go next door.

2. Rai Rai Ken
218 E. 10th St.; 212-477-7030
The mouth-smacking ramen staple has a new location with double the seating.

3. Molecule Water Cafe
259 E. 10th St.; 646-371-9025
The weeks-old shop shills $2.50 glasses of “artisanal” tap water, stripped of impurities via a $25,000 filtering machine and, if requested, pumped full of hangover-crushing vitamins.

4. Body Evolutions
266 E. 10th St.; 212-375-0430
Sign up for private lessons on imposing Gyrotonic equipment, which strengthen muscles using circular moves borrowed from yoga, swimming, and ballet.

5. Fox & Jane
277 E. 10th St.; 646-688-3643
“Ombre, balayage, ombre, balayage,” says Lorean Cairns of the daily requests at her salon, which expanded north from the LES two weeks ago.

6. The Juice Press
279 E. 10th St.; 212-777-0034
This year-old juice bar’s bracing Rehab Shot—lemon, cayenne, and ginger—helps ward off the summer flu.

7. Blind Barber
339 E. 10th St.; 212-228-2123
The barbershop now sells its own line of pomade and hair wax, useful for keeping freshly shorn styles looking sharp at night, when the space morphs into a models-and-bottles lounge.

8. Ninth St. Espresso
341–343 E. 10th St.; 212-777-3508
By annexing part of the old Life Cafe, the coffeehouse will nearly triple in size this fall and start pouring craft beers, including a coffee-spiked IPA.
