Bio

Amy Sohn is the author of the new novel My Old Man (Simon & Schuster), currently in bookstores everywhere. Her first novel, Run Catch Kiss, was published in 1999 to wide acclaim and she also wrote the New York Times best-selling Sex and the City: Kiss and Tell (Pocket Books).

Amy's initiation into the Manhattan media world was her autobiographical "Female Trouble" column in New York Press, which elicited loads of invective from readers and shamed her parents at cocktail parties. She has also written for The Nation, Harper's Bazaar, Premiere, Glamour, and Playboy. She often appears on VH1 and MetroChannel and co-created, wrote and starred in the television series "Avenue Amy," which ran for two seasons on Oxygen. She lives with herself in Brooklyn.
