On and around July 4 is when the summer sales start getting good. So when you’re not out doing cannonballs into your friend’s pool or barbecuing something delicious on a roof, you might as well buy some very discounted goodies. We found three pairs of festive summer shorts, the perfect linen dress, some Bang & Olufsen portable speakers, and a pizza pool float.

We’re kicking things off with a trio of shorts that are on sale. Scalloped things, we will admit, feel a little old news; but these chambray shorts from Club Monaco, with their delicate scalloped hem, feel a bit trend-resistant.
