COS, H&M’s older and wiser cousin, makes elegant, non-fussy basics that (if you’re squinting) look like they could actually be from Acne or Jil Sander. We always say that if we ever work at an office that requires us to dress up, we’d outfit ourselves in head-to-toe COS. In any event, its prices are a bit higher than H&M, but the sales are usually pretty wonderful.
