The Best Full-length Mirrors on Amazon, According to Hyperenthusiastic Reviewers

By

Here at the Strategist, we like to think of ourselves as crazy (in the good way) about the stuff we buy, but as much as we’d like to, we can’t try everything. Which is why we have People’s Choice, in which we find the best-reviewed (that’s four-to-five-star reviews and lots of ‘em) products and single out the most convincing. We’ve written about vanity mirrors, magnifying mirrors, and storage-cabinet mirrors before, but here we’ve collected the best full-length mirrors from the hordes on Amazon. And guess what? That storage-cabinet mirror is a big hit there, too. (Note that reviews have been edited for length and clarity.)

Best swiveling full-length mirror, rectangular

4.3 stars, 958 reviews

“I wasn’t expecting much when ordering this mirror, but was pleasantly surprised when it arrived by how easy it was to assemble and then how solid it was. I also expected the optical quality of the mirror to be less than it was, but am very pleased with how clear the image is with no ripples, as are often seen in cheap, lightweight mirrors. It now sits in the corner on its steady, simple base doing just what it should. It looks good and does its job.”

Best swiveling full-length mirror, oval

4.4 stars, 339 reviews

“This elegant mirror is probably one of my most favorite purchases this year. I got the one with a cherry-oak finish, and it looks very expensive. It takes less than ten minutes to assemble and does not require tools. The swivel action makes it a perfect, adjustable mirror.”

Best swiveling full-length mirror with a cabinet

4 stars, 506 reviews

“I have a ridiculous amount of jewelry that I could never find efficient storage for. This mirror is perfect. It’s smaller than imagined and the bracelet bar only holds soft bracelets because of the lack of space between the bar and the back of the mirror, but hard bracelets easily fit in the shelves. I also used the ring holders for stud earrings, and it makes them so easy to look at and put away every day.”

Best over-the-door full-length mirror

3.9 stars, 457 reviews

“The weight of this mirror is perfect for the hollow-core door that I’m using it on. This mirror has a positive image reflection. It doesn’t cast a distortion, the way I thought it might, since the price was so good. One thing on this item is the instructions on how to clean the mirror, with a water-and-white-vinegar mix. I prepared the mix and used it on all of the mirrors in my house, and they all produced a clear sparkle. Windex always leaves a smudge residue. Now, the water-and-white-vinegar mix is my default mirror cleaner.”

Best standing full-length mirror, wood

4.4 stars, 113 reviews

“Wanted a full-length mirror that had true (undistorted) reflection or glass, and this one does. I’ve found that some mirrors really distort, and often objects appear smaller or thinner than they really are, me included! This mirror design is also neutral enough to work with various décor styles. It’s unobtrusive, arrived well-packaged, and looks as pictured.”

Best standing full-length mirror, steel

4.4 stars, 165 reviews

“Love this mirror! Looks very high-end. Unlike other mirrors I looked at, it will work for taller people without having to stand very far away. I’m five-ten and can see myself full-length easily.”

Best fancy full-length mirror

4.4 stars, 38 reviews

“Recently priced out similar leather or tufted floor mirrors and, man, they are expensive. I wasn’t sure what I was going to get with this purchase at the price and without many reviews, but I am very impressed. This mirror is solid, heavy, and very well-made — and for under 100 bucks, you just can’t beat it. The crystal detailing is very elegant, and although you can’t really tell from the pics, there is quite a bit of padding around the outside of the mirror, which gives it that expensive and luxurious look. Don’t go spend $300-plus at other home-furnishing sites, this is perfect via price and quality! Already wondering if I got another one, where I could put it? Quick ship, too, and packaged nicely to avoid damage while in transit.”

Best cheap wall-mounted mirror with a cabinet

4.4 stars, 1,592 reviews

“I use this as a wall-mount mirror hanging on the closet door. After a couple years of use and a move, it’s still sturdy and holding up well. If you or your lady has a lot of jewelry and you don’t want to clutter a dresser top with boxes, I highly recommend this.”

Best expensive wall-mounted mirror with a cabinet

4.5 stars, 399 reviews

“This is a must-have for any small space. My bathroom has no medicine cabinet and is pretty small, so storage is a huge deal. My girlfriend came across this item, so I figured I would give it a shot, being Prime eligible. This item came fast and packaged extremely well, the finish was flawless. I know it states that it needs a two-person install, but I put this together and hung it in about an hour by myself with very minimal effort, and I’m sure if I did it again, it would be significantly less time. This fits so much stuff, it really is amazing, and it does not impede any operation of the door. I can’t fully explain how much I recommend this.”

Best over-the-door full-length mirror with three panels

4 stars, 120 reviews

“Great mirror! I love being able to see everything from all angles, especially when I try on dresses and skirts. The mirror is a bit heavy, but I was still able to carry it up a flight of stairs, assemble the hangers to the back, and hang it on my walk-in-closet door by myself. The mirror does tend to swing against the door if the door is closed too quickly, but some Velcro Command Strips on the back of the mirror at the bottom fixed that problem.”

Best leaning full-length mirror

4.2 stars, 174 reviews

“I got this for my daughter’s college apartment, in particular to use for dressing in her room. We were blown away with the elegance and quality of this mirror, right down to the beveled detailing. It’s a great size to lean up against the wall — adds a bit of classiness and style to her room, which is decorated in gold, silver, and bronze hues. It also comes with hooks to hang vertically or horizontally — absolutely fantastic piece of, shall we say, art! This is one piece of furniture that will travel with my daughter for many years to come.”
