Vegans to Make Last Stand TomorrowOur colleagues over at Daily Intelligencer recently got into a food fight with the vegan community. So, in the spirit of reconciliation, Grub Street offers up the following information. One of the most venerable vegan institutions, the Whole Earth Bakery and Kitchen, is fixing to go belly up on March 31. But the vegans won’t take that lying down, and a rally is scheduled tomorrow.
