'My Name Is Earl' and Jay Leno's 'Tonight Show,' two shows that are off the air, were both referenced last night.
Since he took over last month, the median age of 'Tonight Show' viewers has fallen by ten years. (Because old people stopped watching.)
For the first time since 2005, Dave beat the 'Tonight Show' in total viewers last week. Still not among key demographics, though.
(Assuming she's not of the imaginary variety.)
As expected, Letterman's more-famous guests helped him outdraw Conan for the second time this week.
A look at the upcoming lineups for both shows certainly seems to indicate as much!

NBC has demanded he "back off booking A-list celebrities because it would encroach on Conan's turf."
Blog Serious Lunch noticed a striking similarity between Conan's new 'Tonight Show' set and the graphics from Super Mario World.

Conan's first night gave practically no indication of what a regular episode might be like. Mostly it just made us want to move to Los Angeles.
