• Pete Wentz is loaning his famous self to help launch Fashion Focus in Chicago, its fourth annual Fashion Week. He'll show his collection on October 1 at the first runway show, Gen Art's Fresh Faces in Fashion. [WWD]

• The British Fashion Council awarded runway sponsorship to Louise Goldin, Danielle Scutt, Meadham Kirchhoff, House of Holland, and Peter Pilotto for September Fashion Week. That means they're officially buzzy, so look out for their shows. [British Vogue]

Helmut Lang will show his first major art exhibit titled "Helmut Lang — Alles Gleich Schwer (or All Has Equal Weight)" in Hanover Germany in August.
