Loulou de la Falaise Had Imaginary Friends

Yves Saint Laurent’s former muse Loulou de la Falaise’s holiday collection launches on the Home Shopping Network today. She says of her inspiration, “This is a kind of Scottish, gothic duchess influence. It comes from memories of my childhood and things like that. Everything here has a wolf on it. That’s my symbol, the wolf, because I’m called Loulou and that means wolf wolf. It’s a very romantic animal. When I was a kid and afraid of things, in my daydreams and night dreams I would make friends with things that most frightened me. I would make friends with the wolf and the wolf would protect me.” [FWD]
