Kanye West to Pursue Fashion Sub-Career in London

Made all the more ironic by his collaboration with British singer Estelle on her "American Boy" single, Kanye West is moving to London in early spring to pursue his burgeoning career in fashion design. According to the Mirror, he's applying to work at Louis Vuitton's HQ there and other fashion houses in Europe. He also plans to unveil his own line, Pastelle (again ironically, just two letters away from Estelle), in London. He's reportedly chosen Brit musician Mr. Hudson as his muse and star of Pastelle's first ad campaign. The Mirror reports:

Kanye said: "I'm going to go and take an internship and just do something that's like completely normal, and just rap at the weekends or something."

Or something! Could his music career be any farther back on that burner? Besides, what could be more normal than a 31-year-old with ten Grammys taking an internship at a fashion house? Ooh, ooh, we know! A 28-year-old hockey star taking an internship at Vogue and parading around the fashion closet in nothing more than sneakers and a flimsy pair of athletic shorts.
