Women Who Smoke Are More Likely to Diet, Binge

Olivia Palermo

A few years ago, researchers discovered that 75 percent of women smokers wouldn't quit if it meant gaining more than five pounds. Researchers recently discovered women who smoke are more dissatisfied with their bodies than women who don't, and are more likely to diet and binge. Smoking can also cause wrinkles, yellow teeth, and hair thinning (not to mention cancer), but smokers ironically are very interested in maintaining non-weight-related aspects of their appearance.
