LAST SLIDE

Designers Don’t Think Your Wrists Are Furry Enough

View Slideshow Giles Deacon.

Fur has made a big splash on the fall runways, from trim to coats. But the big accessory this season is gauntlets, the extra-long cuffs that keep arms cozy. Spotted from New York (at Donna Karan in shearling) to London (at Giles) to Milan (Fendi), gauntlets are even making appearances at Paris. Paired with everything from dresses to coats to suits, these furballs negate the need for sweaters and cover-ups. And yes, we know it's only a matter of time before hipsters start wearing the bedazzled versions of these. Click ahead to see them on the runways.
