The flagship Jack Olive — a preppy new menswear line inspired by the British sport of cricket — quietly opened last week in Soho. The brand fosters a refined, gentlemanly air, decking the mint-green store with a black globe, cricket bats and balls, playing cards and dice, and assorted wine miscellany. The clothing is manufactured in Italy, mixing conservative pieces like cream sweater vests, seersucker suits, patterned silk ties, and cashmere knits with more casual items like Jack Olive denim and cotton button-downs in an array of pastels.
