If the Marni store opening two weeks ago went a little under the radar, it’s probably because it was right on the heels of that little party known as the Met gala. The store, designed by Sybarite, is geometric and inspired by origami. Think modern and minimal but downplayed by lilac tones. The store itself, however, isn’t what’s getting us excited right now, but rather the special one-off collection that Consuelo Castiglioni designed to celebrate the opening. The roughly twenty-piece limited-edition line is full of cute dresses, tops, and accessories. And though the prices aren’t recession friendly, Marni fans will no doubt be making a beeline. Once the collection sells out, it’s gone for good.
