Best Bet: Big Sender

With Labor Day rapidly approaching, it’s prime time to flee the city for an end-of-the-summer trip. These new silk-screened cards by Brooklyn design duo Sub-Studio offer a pretty, personalized way to keep in touch — the old-fashioned way. The four versions are printed with travel-stamped luggage and bear messages like “Bring back something nice” (for the jet-setting boyfriend), “Miss you” (the city-bound friend stuck at home), and the classic “Wish you were here” (romantic inclinations or mild gloating, take your pick). Grab a pen and give your BlackBerry a break.

Travelogue cards, $4 each or $15 for a set of five at Sub-Studio.com.
