Lady Gaga’s ‘Bad Romance’ Video Includes Razor-Blade Sunglasses, Supermodels [Updated]

Lady Gaga's fashion-monster evolution has included face masks, hair sculptures, Muppets, disco sticks, and zippering her eye shut. For her next video for "Bad Romance," she explores the freaky, fabulous world of razor blades, which she used to make sunglasses. MTV reports:

"I wanted to design a pair for some of the toughest chicks and some of my girlfriends — don't do this at home! — they used to keep razor blades in the side of their mouths," she explained. "That tough female spirit is something that I want to project. It's meant to be, 'This is my shield, this is my weapon, this is my inner sense of fame, this is my monster.'"

She adds:

"There's this one shot in the video where I get kidnapped by supermodels. I'm washing away my sins and they shove vodka down my throat to drug me up before they sell me off to the Russian mafia."

But what's in it for the Russian mafia? Putting her in a cage and forcing her to be normal on cue? (You know homegirl goes to bed in sweats.) See a preview of the supermodels in a clip from the video, which premieres in full on Monday. Update: The full video is out! And Gaga wears spring 2010 Alexander McQueen. Enjoy.
