• The Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti collection will be displayed in an informal presentation in Milan this February instead of Ferretti's usual elaborate show. It's unclear whether the designer will be attending New York Fashion Week. [FWD]

• Hermione de Paula won the Vauxhall Fashion Scout Merit Award for fall/winter 2010-11, allowing the Central Saint Martins grad to show her collection at London Fashion Week. [Vogue UK]

• Former Prada exec Michelle Demus is the program director for the new 20,000-square-foot Pure Yoga studio that opens today on the Upper West Side. Though yoga "kept [her] sane" while working in fashion, Prada has its perks: "I miss my clothing allowance, though — that has to be said on the record." [WWD]
