Atsuki Hirose, who moved from Japan sixteen years ago, still loves Japanese designers. He has to — his girlfrend works for Yohji Yamamoto! But, Hirose says, there's a lot more style variation in New York. "In Japan, everyone dresses nice but everyone looks the same."
