Most March covers will feature the same rotating batch of actresses and pop stars we always see, including Jennifer Garner and Jessica Biel for Marie Claire, Jessica Simpson for Allure, Carrie Underwood for Cosmo, and Megan Fox for W. But look out for Vogue and Glamour. Tina Fey landed Vogue’s March cover, prompting WWD to note the magazine doesn’t usually “[rock] the boat with its cover choices.” But we’re actually most interested to see Glamour’s cover, which will feature Victoria Beckham shot by Ellen von Unwerth. Unwerth, you may recall, shot Lady Gaga for Out magazine’s September issue, producing what is still one of the best Gaga spreads to date. Glamour has never hired Unwerth, so hopefully they let her do something different and interesting with Beckham, rather than just shove her into an overgrown meadow with a canoe and a plaid flannel over her ballgown, as magazines like Glamour love to do with fashion spreads.
