American Apparel is searching for their next butt model, and it could be YOU. In a seriously disturbing contest to find "the best bottom in the world," the brand is asking regular ladies to submit photos of their asses, which will then be posted on their site for the world to view, rate, and comment on. The interactive element will draw a lot of attention, such as this post you're reading, but technically it's not even necessary, since American Apparel judges will pick the winner. And the top two finalists might not even become the next AA butt model, since the rules say they will only be "eligible to be our next butt model." But the top ten contestants, as voted on by the public, will win a "grab bag" off AA stuff valued at $300. That ought to consist of what? Two gold lamé jumpsuits and a few scrunchies nowadays? Entrants must clad their rumps in American Apparel products, which makes us wonder if the brand is now sitting, no pun intended, on a heap of free advertising material.
