Lady Gaga completely changed up the sets and costumes for the U.K. leg of her Monster Ball tour. Prada created a custom dress for it (see more pictures on Gaga Daily), which the house describes as a "combination of antique and modern elements." From Prada's press release:
It is made of ciré, a plastic and technical jersey in a camel tone. The embroidery reveals a black guipure flower motif with lace trimming. The skirt recalls a‘à panier’ structure, typical of the 18th century.
Well, that sounds tedious. And to think, she probably only wears it for two minutes before stripping down to her glitter panties! She's certainly come a long way from the days of $20 lace body stockings and homemade disco-ball bras, but just looking at her is starting to make us feel like we need a nap nowadays. Not that we don't love it, but damn, her attire is so freakishly involved now.
