Last night at dinner at Spring Street Natural in Soho, the Cut and friends' salad enjoyment was put on pause when we looked out the window across Spring Street and noticed a giant billboard for Crocs. The ad is a variation of what you see here, and included two of the brand's new "Croslite" mascots in pink, crawling on a pretty pair of bare feet like oversize bacteria looking for a toenail under which to embed themselves. According to the Crocs blog, these things like to give out hugs. The shoes are creepy enough as inanimate objects.
