Last night on America’s Next Top Model, André Leon Talley brought a cane to the judging. Why? So he could brandish it at bad models, that’s why! Not only did André brandish his fabulous new accessory at the bad model contestants, he also directed its wrath at Tyra Banks, who didn’t know the French words for “doll” and “bad doll” (or “dreck doll,” as Talley prefers to say these days). The challenge involved the girls looking fake and posing on Canal Street, making for such a clever tie-in to the counterfeit-goods industry. Too bad The City already did a Canal Street episode.
