Carla Bruni said in November that she made some sort of pact with Woody Allen to appear in his next film. Now the Daily Mail reports that Marion Cotillard will play France’s First Lady in the movie, and Carla will probably get a cameo role. According to the paper, Allen realized he couldn’t hire a real First Lady because she will probably have better things to do (like mingle with NYU students!) than make a movie at any given time, and would probably prioritize them over his project.
