See Amber Valletta’s Hair Hat; Bobbi Brown to Launch Brightening Products

Amber Valletta appears on the cover of Italian Vogue's April issue with an ultra-combover. It's almost like a hair hat. [Modelinia]

• Hairstylists are making more and more house calls for regular cuts, touch-ups, and treatments, rather than just special events. The stylists make extra money, and their clients don't have to put their lives on hold and travel places. [NYT]

• Sunsilk signed hairstylist Teddy Charles to co-create a line of hair products for the Hydra TLC Collection, one of four collections he worked on for the company. To celebrate, he's touring shopping malls throughout America to host Battle of the Brushes competitions featuring local stylists. Yes: hair-offs. [Talking Makeup]

• This spring, Bobbi Brown will launch a line of brightening products that help lighten skin and dark spots. The makeup artist said she was inspired to create the line after meeting a lot of women when traveling around Asia, where brightening creams are popular. [StyleList]

• Sephora in France will launch a new fragrance inspired by actress Josephine Baker, as part of the company's series of scents inspired by music. They already have a Sex Pistols fragrance. [Now Smell This]
