Patrick O’Connell has stepped down from his post as Vogue’s director of communications, citing the need for “a personal change.” During his twelve-year tenure, he handled damage control during some of the magazine’s hairiest moments, including its controversial “LeBron Kong” cover and the unflattering portrait that was The Devil Wears Prada.
