Prince Nikoloas of Greece and Tatiana Blatnik got married yesterday, and the bride decided to dress her bridesmaids in sparkly, swishy, mermaid-goes-to-prom-style dresses. Maybe it was the seaside location (the groom reportedly arrived by boat), or perhaps Tatiana’s day job as an events planner for Diane von Furstenberg means she’s naturally a fan of theme parties. Or maybe she just got the memo that mermaid bridalwear is in, but didn’t want to take the plunge herself.
