Watching The Rachel Zoe Project Makes Rachel Zoe ‘Physically Uncomfortable’

Rachel Zoe was taking a few minutes to relax at the American Express Skybox at Lincoln Center yesterday after the Prabal Gurung show, when we asked her to name her top-five fall must-haves. Without even taking a minute to think, she rattled off: "A sky-high platform boot, a thigh boot, a chunky knit sweater of some sort, a cardigan or otherwise, a tuxedo jacket, and a military jacket." How about accessories, then? "Anything oversize — extremely large cocktail rings, very big architectural cuffs. Alexis Bittar has some of my favorite ones. I would say a kind of lady-influenced bag, kind of like the Fendi Accordion Bag or the Celine bag, that’s structured a bit."

We watch the stylist's Bravo show The Rachel Zoe Project pretty closely around here, we explained, but Zoe told us she doesn't do the same. "[I don't watch the show] unless I’m with my family, and they force me to. I was just in the Hamptons with them, and I was like, 'I’m going to go upstairs, I don’t want to watch.' They said, ‘You need to watch it with us. We gave birth to you. Sit here and watch this with us.’ I was like 'I can’t, it makes me physically uncomfortable.' And Rodger? Forget it. He can’t watch it at all."
