Heidi braids and half-braids appeared at Emanuel Ungaro and Givenchy, respectively, and Alexander McQueen's show redefined what it means to have a hair weave. Retro love was also in full swing: Silent-movie-star makeup abounded at John Galliano, Louis Vuitton, and Yves Saint Laurent, while a quarter of the models in the Christian Dior show sported Bettie Page bangs.
