A spokeswoman for Style.com confirmed that the site, which is now a competitor of Vogue.com, is shooting a pilot for a reality-television show. So things are in the very early stages, and it might not even get picked up, but it already has decent buzz that can only help usher the show onto the air. The series would revolve around the site's party reporters, so imagine watching someone go to parties to interview celebrities and be fabulous, and then try to have a personal life on the side. Word is the characters will be actual Style.com employees, unlike The City, in which Elle only pretends to employ Olivia Palermo. Writer and reporter Darrell Hartman is rumored to be a key character in the effort, and producers are reportedly trying to cast a lady party reporter as his love interest. A source tells the Daily News that Derek Blasberg, who goes to everything fabulous everywhere, will have limited involvement in the series, following the controversy over some consulting work he did. The last item he wrote for the site is dated June 18.
