Last night, Beyoncé thrilled fans gathered in the School of Visual Arts movie theater on 23rd Street to see her directorial debut, her forthcoming concert DVD, I Am ... World Tour, when she personally introduced the cinematic masterpiece. Beyoncé informed the crowd, having arrived almost an hour late (they forgave her, obviously), that she spent nine months editing the film and encouraged the audience to dance in the aisles if they felt like it. Then she hugged a child, made someone cry, and went to her seat, absolutely dazzling in a beaded eggplant Naeem Kahn dress, her long blonde hair even shinier.
How do you feel about the amount of shiny stuff on this dress? Too low-key for Beyoncé's directorial debut or just right for the lazy Sunday evening eff you, AMAs occasion?
