Zac Posen has been having a rough few months. Both his main clothing line and his lower-priced Z Spoke collection received harsh reviews during the spring 2011 shows, and then his mom, Susan Posen, quit her position as the CEO of his company to "pursue other interests" in October. There was a brief moment of intrigue when we thought he'd design Bella Swan's wedding dress for the next Twilight movie, which might have been interesting, especially considering his past dalliance with bridalwear; alas, it was not to be.
But now it looks like things could be turning around! On Wednesday night, Posen won his $3,500 bid on a six-week internship with Martha Stewart at a benefit for the Martha Stewart Center for Living at Mount Sinai. Posen tweeted at her: "I'm so happy that I won a 6 week internship with @marthastewart. Whatever will I learn?" Stewart, who is a friend of Posen's and has attended his shows in the past, will presumably be teaching him lots about glitter.
