Marie Claire style and accessories director Taylor Tomasi Hill is supposedly Barneys' latest choice for women's fashion director, a spot that has been open since Julie Gilhart was let go at the end of November. Virginia Smith of Vogue and Sarah Rutson of Lane Crawford were reportedly both offered the position by Barneys' new CEO, Mark Lee, and turned it down to stay at their respective jobs. Before working at Marie Claire, Hill was the accessories director at Teen Vogue.
